ALEXANDER RIKOWSKI

(Born 25/06/83)

Alexander works full-time at Guy's New Hunt's House Library, King's College London as an Information Assistant. Prior to this, he worked at the Maughan Library, King's College London , and prior to that, on a temporary contact at New Hunt's House. (all in 2012)

Alexander is studying part-time for a Masters in Law, for a Qualifying Law Degree (LLM) at Birkbeck College, University of London. The course is demanding but should prove to be worthwhile. The course runs from 2012-2015.

Previously, he worked temporarily at the Idea Store, Chrisp Street as an Idea Store Assistant in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. And prior to that, and after completing his degree, he worked as a Civil Enforcement Officer for Mouchel on behalf of the London Borough of Newham .

Alexander obtained an Upper Second BA degree in Philosophy from King's College London in August 2010

Alexander Rikowski was a self-employed, qualified maintainence gardener for 5 years (2001-06)
He then decided to change direction, and worked part-time as a Library Assistant in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea libraries for a few months (2006-07) prior to commencing full-time studying.

Alexander Rikowski also has a Diploma in Philosophy (Merit) from Birkbeck College, University of London (2007)

In addition, he has a National Certificate in Horticulture from Capel Manor College, Enfield, Middlesex (2001)and a BTEC First Diploma and a NVQ1 in Horticulture also from Capel Manor College (2000)
Whilst at Capel Manor, he won an award for the 'Best Student' in his year.

Alexander interests include: football, films, reading, current affairs, politics, debating, internet surfing, swimming, walking in forests, designing and constructing ponds, driving, theatres, museums, zoos, general DIY work, galleries, cycling, music, board games, and anything to do with the natural world. He is currently a friend of both the Zoological Society of London and the British Museum. He is also a former member of the National Trust and the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds.
